Affiliate Disclosure
How Loop & Ladder makes money, stated plainly — including the part where, right now, it doesn't.

Where things stand today
Loop & Ladder is not currently enrolled in any affiliate programme and carries no advertising. There are no affiliate links in any pattern on this site, no sponsored posts, no paid product placements and no ad network. Nothing you read here earns us a commission.
We are saying this explicitly because “this post may contain affiliate links” is boilerplate on almost every pattern site, including plenty that have no affiliate links at all. If we ever do have them, you will not have to guess.
If that changes
Should we join an affiliate programme in future, the rules we will hold ourselves to are these:
- Any post containing affiliate links will carry a clear disclosure at the top of that post, before the content, as the FTC requires.
- Only posts that actually contain such links will carry that notice — we won't blanket every page with it.
- Affiliate links cost you nothing extra. The price is the same whether you use the link or not.
- A commission never buys a recommendation. We would only link to something we would use ourselves, and a product being unavailable through an affiliate programme is not a reason to leave it out.
- This page will name the specific programmes involved, rather than referring vaguely to “affiliate partners”.
Advertising
The site displays no ads and runs no advertising scripts. If display advertising is ever added, this page will say which network serves it, and the privacy policy will describe what that network collects — with consent asked for first where it is required.
